I don't often play multiplayer. That should be obvious due to the lack of updates to this blog. In fact, the last time I played anything multiplayer other then game that allow same system play like in WWE2K, Lego games, or Minecraft, was 663 days ago. During he Destiny Beta.
So when a couple of kids from YFC added me to their friends list, I said sure. and when we were talking about Black Ops 2 and I mentioned my surprise that I had 2 but not 1, it was decided that we would play together that night.
I had never played Black Ops 2, I didn't know anything about the maps. and it had been years since I had even played a COD game.
Some how I ended up breaking even. 3 kills, 3 deaths. Not much, but it was a pretty fast game. The surprising part, which surprised all of us even, was the fact that I, the lowest level player in the game, killed the highest level player with a starter weapon to score the last kill. We all watched the kill cam in shock that I won the game for our team.
The rest of the games I didn't have as much luck, but neither did either. We ran into hackers. Eventually we just played Zombies before all calling it a night and I reported the hackers. But over all, it was a fun night.

Journal Entry 15
I was playing Red Dead Redemption and I got into a fight with a guy in Armadillo. I killed him 5 times in a row rather easily before he killed me. And that was mainly by luck. I was riding out of town and he respawned next to me, which would become the theme for the play session. Unfortunately he missed a feat of awesomeness right before he respawned. I had ben declared Most Wanted and had 3 Lawmen heading towards me. we were about 20 yards apart and I started spamming Lt and RT. in the span of about a second, I killed all three of them and a civilian walking by. It was Epic.
The sad thing is that the guy in Armadillo was stupid. He kept going after me! I killed him 3 or 4 times for every time he killed me! Finally I shot him in the face with a Shotgun and continued on to McFarlane Ranch.
On the way, I encountered a Lvl 5 player that I easily took out several times before he took me out (again, respawning next to me.) At one point he actually charged at me on foot shooting from the hip! I casually raised my High Powered Pistol and emptied it into him before continuing to the Ranch.
I got to the ranch and decided to see how long I could last against Lawmen. I didn't last very long though because there was a guy I missed with a Sniper Rifle who took me out. He got me a couple more time before I was able to find a way to get into a position to kill him. I killed him a few more times, evening the score. From that point on we were locked in an Epic Duel! Each of us were fighting from cover to cover, trying to get into position to get the kill and the score remained even the entire time. Finally, I respawned and saw him heading towards the barn again. I ran towards him and we traded fire before sliding behind cover at the same time. It was like something from an action movie! He eventually got to the barn and started shooting at me from the windows. I returned fire, but neither of us could get the kill. I moved to the hay racks next to the barn. We continued to exchange fire, even getting Dynamite involved, but couldn't get the kill. Finally someone else showed up and killed me, leaving my opponent with 1 kill more then me.
Going to have to try to play against him again some time so we can even the score.

Journal Entry 14
I've been playing a bunch of Red Dead Redemption (YAY! A post about a game not set during World War 2!)the last few days. When I stared playing today, I ended up having to deal with a couple guys that were chasing other people off. Of course I had to do something. So I lured them into some traps and kept killing them, which kept pissing them off. That meant they started chasing me whenever I respawned. Finaly I went into the Outfitter and sent a message.
It was time to get the Horsemen back together.
First I contacted Greg, who was online already playing Halo. While he finished up the match he was in, I saw that they were heading towards Armadillo and used the warp pipe (transport) to warp there and took them out as they entered town. I kept fighting them, but was soon outnumbered even more when they recruited a new member and had a fourth unofficially join their posse.
That's when Greg arrived.
with 2 of the Horsemen fighting side by side, the 2 against 4 odds were even But just to make it more fun, Dan arrived.
The original Horsemen were back.
We made short work of all of them, chasing off 3 of them before we decided to head for El Presidio. Unfortunately the one still on decided to follow us. but we eventually sent him running.
After killing the Mexican Army (with cannons!) for a while, a couple more guys showed up, trying to take the Horsemen down. Unfortunately for them, we were a well trained fighting force and took them out easily. They kept coming back and we kept killing them until they left.
In the end, the only enemy to beat us was time. Both Dan and Greg had to go to bed (I work in the afternoon) But both were eager to play again
Red Dead players beware

Journal Entry 13
Just finished a game of Battlefield 1943 on Wake Island. I was playing as the Japanese. As soon as the game started I jumped in a boat and headed for the AA Village, capturing it. Then I jumped into a Jeep and headed for the air field. The Marines had the same idea. I floored it and headed strait towards the enemy Jeep, t-boning it and killing the driver. I spun around and took out the guy who had been on the gun, but jumped out right before I nailed them. That gave us the lead, which we kept for the whole match. It was a great match.

Journal Entry 12
I was just playing Battlefield 1943 (YAY! A post on here that doesn't have to do with World At War or Call Of Duty in general!!!!) I got placed on the US team on Wake. forget where I started, just that it was on one of the tips. As I was making my way to a contested capture point, a Tank passed me firing at a plane. I lined it up in the sights and fired, destroying the plane and killing the pilot with one shot! It was a Grandpa Simpson moment, only with the Japanese instead of the Germans and it was in the right era instead of last week.
We ended up winning, which finally gave me the Best Squad achievement. We lost the next round on Guadel Canal, but I was in the top 5 for the round and leveled up to Staff Sargent Bronze.

Journal Entry 11
YAY!!!!
New High Score!!!
I joined a game on Maken Island (day) that was already underway. I took out 3 players quickly, one of which dropped an M1. I grabbed it and took up position guarding the ramp leading into the round hut in the center (the usually hot spot for action) and helped a couple team mates cover the board walk leading to it as well as taking out anyone that got near the ramps. I killed enough to call in the dogs (2 kills) and then enough to call in the artillery!
I ended up getting snipped. I respawned and went back to my position, grabbing the M1 again. Took out another player before being sniped. I got back into position, but that was the end of the game.
I ended the game with 13 kills and only 2 deaths. that makes my K/D 11!!!! New high score!!!!

If there is one map I hate more then Night Fire, it is Banzai. But I got stuck in a game that had just started and decided to stay. Ended up as #2 on my team with 13 kills and 6 deaths, for a new high K/D of 7! I also got 2 head shots, which isn't a new high or something, just felt like mentioning it.
While waiting for the next match to start (Sealow) I found out that a couple of guys were speaking French! at first I thought it was just gibberish, but then I started listening and recognized words. Of course the other guys in the lobby were jack asses about it. The match started, but not sure how I would have done since lights went out before the first shot could be fired :(
